How to Create a Food Gallery Wall (With Prints You'll Actually Love)
You've seen them in other people's homes. That wall of prints that pulls a room together and makes you go "how did they do that?" And then you look at your own bare wall and never quite get round to it.
This month I want to fix that. Here's how to create a gallery wall of food prints, step by step. No design degree needed.
Why food prints work so well on a wall
A kitchen or dining wall is the perfect home for food illustrations. They're fun, they're personal, and they start conversations. Group a few together and you've got a proper focal point, not just a lone print floating in space.
Quick tips for a gallery wall
Odd numbers. Three or five prints beats two or four. I don't know why, but odd numbers always look better.
Mix sizes, or keep them the same. For a mix, start with your largest print in the centre (or slightly off-centre) and build smaller frames outwards. For a more unified look, use all the same size with frames in a matching finish.
Keep spacing even. Leave a consistent gap between every frame. That's the trick that makes a wall look intentional rather than cluttered.
That's it. Pick the food you love, group it, and get styling.
A few pairings to start you off
The Boozy Trio: Negroni + Margarita + Old Fashioned
Coastal Vibes: Sardine + Oyster + Mackerel
The Sunshine Set: Chilli + Lemon + Orange
A little wall investment
Every print is signed, limited, and made in Britain, including all the frames. They're fine art giclée prints on archival paper, built to last 60+ years.
